I agree, Student Marketing Agency does seem like a fraud. I have waited patiently for them to acknowledge my concerns and request for a partial refund. I invested $930 in this organization back in 2025. Unfortunately, I had absolutely no return that I could notice or measure on this investment. Near the end of the service, I could not get any information nor could I communicate with anyone. So, I felt it was fair to ask for a refund for the last month (September).
I tried to communicate with Hannu Rauma, the President. At first, he answered my emails. But when I asked for a refund for the last month of service in the amount of $313.06, everything changed. He emailed me on 10.25.26 that he would get back to me the following Monday on this request when he returned from a medical issue, but I never heard from him again.
I tried reaching him several times by email and by phone. My last email was 1.13.26, and there were several phone messages left for him to call me after that. I was going to just let it go, but I am a very small business. I began to think of other small businesses considering putting their trust in this organization and decided I needed to warn people.
When I first signed up, I was excited about some great outcomes at a budget I could afford. That did not happen. After about 6 months, they changed platforms. I was no longer able to see anything that was being done. I had no way of measuring outcomes. I am not a tech person, so I was at their mercy to understand. I could never talk to anyone. Communication was to be done on their platform, but it stopped working.
Early in 2025, I could reach a live person and could leave a message and had some communication. But they make it very difficult to talk to anyone. Several times, I sent messages through the platform, which I had done in the beginning and was able to get an answer. But that all changed after the platform changed.
I caution anyone considering hiring this company. Anytime you can’t communicate with a business or get an answer to an email, something is wrong. Beware!
